We chose this for a few days after Rome to relax with a pool- Very lovely location and lovely rooms pool BUT please be aware the description is quite out of date Update: -no restaurant on site - it gets locked after breakfast. I think they had one last year hence reviews but it has now closed - No bar or pool bar as described - although staff kindly brought us drinks and even offered to drive to sister hotel to bring us lunch. -no shuttle to Termi de Papi and no driver as described. You 100% MUST have a car. There are taxi’s in the area but limited with virtually no taxis after midnight and taxis cost around 20-30 euro each way. It’s very remote but wonderfully quiet (with exception of a few military helicopters as next to military base) and the pool is a very lovely facility to have. I would agree 4 star surroundings/rooms but not 4 star facilities- I would stay again but wished the description was clearer before I arrived - it was a last minute decision to hire a car and without it we would have been vey stuck and very hungry!

I read a few reviews raving about service. In our case, in early July, it really depended on who was providing service. The front desk was not very helpful at all... they would answer questions, but never give an alternative. However, the food serving staff were wonderful and bent over backwards to provide the best. My examples of bad service by the office: • check in - no offer to carry luggage in, provide cart etc. • Paid for the 'food plan', and was never advised that it's the same menu every night (make sure you like fish) • Two days in a row the pool bar either did not open or opened late. The front desk never gave an option on what do to for a drink... in fact was told that there is nothing served unless it's meal time. Meanwhile, serving staff were more than happy to offer alternatives and provide. • You're on your own to open those large umbrellas... some people struggled to get them open. • Sign in our room said "Enjoy our robe and slippers". We only had slippers in the room. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told you don't get robes. I would not go back
